This is the second and final part of my Brisbane food diary. If you haven’t read the first one, you can find it here.
Breakfast – Denim Co.
I was up at 6 o’clock on my second day in Brisbane and decided to go for a walk. On my walk I came across Denim Co. at Southbank and again I had an acai bowl and avocado toast. They are my two favourite breakfast items and I usually don’t venture too far from my go-to items when dining out. Their acai was served in a cute little bowl with a piece of denim wrapped around it and it tasted as good as it looked. The avocado toast was OK, not the best. I always feel gypped when places sell avocado toast and just give you some sliced avocado on toast. Why don’t they smash it? Anyway, it hit the spot.
Lunch – Marinara Trattoria
This place wasn’t on my list of places to eat, I stumbled upon this when the pizzeria I was going to wasn’t open for lunch. I am so happy that I had lunch here instead because it is the cutest little restaurant with an Italian Bistro vibe to it. I ordered the garlic flat bread to start followed by the gnocchi napoli which was heavenly. I will definitely be going back here when I am in Brisbane next. Yum.
Dinner – Seymour’s
I wasn’t too hungry for dinner so I went to Seymour’s for a cocktail and ordered some chips off their bar menu. If you’re into quiet cocktail bars with a turn of the century vibe then Seymour’s is worth checking out.
I hope you enjoyed my Brisbane food diary’s.
