Palm Beach // Photo Journey

I have wanted to visit Palm Beach for over two years and finally, on my recent trip to Queensland I got to see just how beautiful it is. Palm Beach is a suburb at the bottom end of Queensland on the Gold Coast and the beach there is breathtaking. I had planned to go there for two sunrises however, I only managed to make it for one which I am so grateful for.

I got up super early to be at 11th Ave Beach for the sunrise and I got there about twenty minutes before the sun finally came out from behind the clouds. Feeling the cool April air on my face and the warm water from the ocean on my feet while soaking up the beauty of this sunrise was one of the happiest moments of my life. One day we will live on the Gold Coast and when the day comes that I can get up at 5 o’clock every morning to catch the sunrise at 11th Ave Beach, I will probably cry so many happy tears.

After soaking up the sunrise and taking a million photos, I went to Hendrixx Cafe for breakfast. Hendrixx is a short walk from 11th Ave Beach and was the perfect spot for a light post-sunrise breakfast.

I don’t have much else to say about the sunrise at Palm Beach other than if you are ever in the area, the 5am wake up call is 100% worth it. I will let  the images speak for themselves.
